Wizz Priority


You can get Wizz priority if you have a Wizz privilege pass, Wizz Go, or Wizz Plus bundles. Wizz Priority passengers can take two carry-on bags (hand luggage). Along with one free carry-on bag, they can bring one more larger carry-on bag (a trolley bag).
Wait. There is more. Wizz priority passengers can enjoy priority check-in and boarding as well. You can purchase Wizz Priority tickets at the time of booking, after booking online, or at the airport. The cost is not exact, but roughly it is as follows:

  • At the time of booking, online after booking: €10 to €58.80
  • At the airport, €30–€55.

Wizz Air baggage measurements 


In accordance with the Wizz Air baggage allowance,

  • The carry-on baggage (for under the seat) should weigh not more than 10 kg and must not exceed dimensions of 40×30×20 cm. 
  • Another trolley bag should not exceed dimensions of 55×40×23 cm for overhead bins. 
  • The checked baggage can weigh up to 20 kg, 26 kg, or 32 kg.

Wizz Air carry-on allowance for infants


As per the Wizz Air baggage allowance, if you are travelling with a baby, you can bring baby food into the cabin along with a foldable stroller or a crib. If you want to buy a seat for your baby, you can do that too. You can get collapsible buggies and check them in the hold. Passengers with children younger than 2 years are allowed to bring extra personal items on board for free.

Wizz Air checked baggage allowance


If the carry-on baggage is not enough for you, purchase checked baggage. One checked bag can not be more than 149 x 119 x 171 cm. The checked baggage can weigh up to 10 kg, 20 kg, 26 kg, or 32 kg.

Wizz Air baggage costs

Wizz Air lost baggage


Out of luck, if your luggage gets lost, you can report it at the ‘Baggage Claim’ or ‘Lost Luggage’ desk. They will make you fill out a PIR (Property Irregularity Report), and if the baggage is not found even after 21 days of reporting, the airline will pay for it.

It is suggested that you label your bags with your details, like your name and address, in order to avoid luggage misdirection. Why does baggage get delayed or lost? Sometimes, due to safety or operational reasons, the checked-in bags are carried on alternate flights.

Airlines pay for the damaged baggage but note that the already existing damage, like frayed wheels, teared material, or broken zippers, will not be repaired or reimbursed.
